History + Heritage

Founded in 1955, Arlington brings more than 50 years of experience in multifamily construction. Over that time, we’ve worked through changing markets, evolving construction practices, and new demands across the industry. Along the way, we’ve built lasting relationships and a reputation for quality work and dependable execution. That experience continues to shape how we approach each project today.

1955

Harper Enterprises, Inc. was formed as a construction company in Birmingham, with Mr. Myron Harper as President, and began our long tradition of excellence.

1972

Arlington Properties teams up with Beaver Construction to building multifamily construction projects across the southeast. Harper Enterprises becomes Beaver Construction with Mr. Sims Beavers as President.

1995

Upon the retirement of Sims Beavers, Mr. Frank Nix becomes President of Beaver Construction.

1997

Upon the passing of Mr. Frank Nix, Roy Wester becomes President of Beaver Construction.

1999

Our company is rebranded as Arlington Construction Services to align and capitalize on our experience and expertise across all aspects of the multifamily industry.

2015

Upon the retirement of Mr. Roy Wester, Mr. Tai Cripps becomes the President of Arlington Construction Services.

2024

Blake Taylor named President of Arlington Construction Services. With decades of experience in the construction industry, Blake will continue the company's legacy of elevating the business of multifamily construction.
