Let’s get to the point — on Westshore. Luxury living with views of Tampa Bay. Rooftop decks and rainbow sunsets over the water, modern and luxurious interiors, commuting convenience to Tampa and St. Pete—The Pointe on Westshore offers it all… and then some.
The Pointe on Westshore in Tampa, Florida, new to the Arlington Properties management portfolio, is expected to move from pre-leasing to occupancy in mid to late June of this year, and there is no one more excited than Community Manager Kathie Rojas.
“We are offering a resort-style escape from everyday life,” says Rojas, who comes to The Pointe on Westshore from the company’s Tapestry Westland Village in Jacksonville. “It is a new standard of luxury.
“The color palette for The Pointe on Westshore was inspired by the vibrant colors of the shallow waters and sandbars surrounding Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico,” she says. “Our 444 units are reflective of this and are bright and open with a profusion of natural light.
“The quartz counters, sleek white cabinets, and state-of-the-art appliances bring a whole new feel to the high-end apartment experience. And it doesn’t stop there–our residents will be able to enjoy our gated community and the beauty of the panoramic preserve and water views from the comfort of their patios or solariums.”
After being in the property management business for more than a decade, Rojas knows that her residents are looking for the perfect blend of form and function. Energy, sophistication, and a sense of community all matter, and The Pointe on Westshore will deliver.
“Amenities and convenience are essential to the upscale apartment dweller,” Rojas says. “They want to know that they can use Fitness on Demand in the fitness center for a virtual spin class at 2 a.m. if that’s what suits their schedule, or the business center and its media room. We have a parcel locker so that residents can conveniently access packages and a dry-cleaning pickup and delivery service, and yes, there is an app for that!”
“And speaking of convenience, we are close to the dog beach and walking trails at Picnic Island Park, the Westshore Marina District, Hula Bay, and Salt Shack, and several other nice restaurants that offer outdoor dining and incredible Gulf views. St. Petersburg is just across the bridge, and downtown Tampa is about 15 minutes away.”
Rojas says that when it comes to community, getting to know your neighbors will be something easy and fun at The Pointe, even taking any remaining pandemic protocols on social distancing into account. “You just have to be a little more creative,” says Rojas. “We plan to offer more outdoor options, like a food truck on Cinco de Mayo, outdoor yoga sessions to destress, or ‘Wine- Down Wednesdays’ in an open setting.
“People expect to be able to go to the pools or into the clubhouse and feel like they’re among family and friends,” she says. “We understand this and put a lot of effort into building that sense of community.”
The pools Rojas mentions are both luxe and heated, and one is Olympic-sized. The clubhouse features a huge chef’s kitchen for entertaining, and residents can spend time with like-minded neighbors at the fire pit and in the game room.
Rojas also is excited about the resident services she and her decidedly pet-friendly team are finalizing—matchmaking between reliable walking services and dogs (and their owners!) and, of course, at the pet spa—The Pointe on Westshore is very fuzzy friendly.
“People are making one of the biggest decisions in their lives when they decide where to live,” she says. “You get to be a part of something so important to them, and to me, that’s amazing. I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
And she also can’t imagine being with any other organization than Arlington Properties.
“It’s more than a company, it’s a family, and you don’t see that very often,” she says. “Even though it’s a big company, everyone pretty much knows everyone else, and any time you need assistance, there is a strong group there to help you.
“Whatever they promise, they do. Arlington exemplifies integrity.”
The Pointe on Westshore was developed and owned by Index Investments.
